Today, under the leadership of Sigurd Schiemann and Pierre Dahl, the brand has evolved from its Nordic roots into a European powerhouse, renowned for technical innovation and a deep respect for tradition.

In 2023, Budo-Nord celebrated a landmark 50th Anniversary, marking the beginning of an ambitious global expansion. After establishing a strong presence in China to enhance our specialized Karate line, we set our sights on the vibrant martial arts community of Southeast Asia.

In 2025, Budo-Nord officially arrived in the region through a strategic collaboration with Ulfight Sportgears (Malaysia). Serving as the dedicated hub for all Southeast Asian countries, Ulfight Sportgears Sdn Bhd shares our core passion for the sport. Together, we are committed to bringing the world’s finest, WKF-approved karate equipment to local dojos and international tatamis alike. We are excited to work and support athletes or any sports retailers and dojo owners across South East Asia.
